“Seeing is believing”…thats what the world likes to say.. I mean it does sound perfectly logical right? Unless u see something, there’s no point in believing in it.
A few weeks back, my church pastor spoke on this topic titled “believing is seeing”. He spoke about how we will see great and unimaginable things when we believe in God. For us humans, seriously speaking..it is kinda difficult for us to live out this phrase. Some of us might even be stunned with such a phrase. How is this possible? How is that possible? Aiya, impossible lah! Keep going...but let me say something now alright…WITH MY (OUR) GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE (that is if it is according to His will..musn’t forget that important part.=) We can’t expect God to grant us something that we selfishly or sinfully desire right?)
Got a short testimony to share now. My tennis team won our 3rd/4th match today. And we could go around with all the whoo-haaa and say that we’re all good and that, but I tell you, without God’s help, we would be nowhere near what we achieved today. Today, I’ve yet again seen how God so faithfully answers the prayers of those who believe in Him (It does not mean that if He does not answer our prayers then He does not exist. He has His own reason for everything.
) I’ve yet again seen how an impossible and difficult situation can be turned over by my God. All it needs is that little faith, saying “God, I trust in You. You can do it for me. (Then smile.)” that comes without doubt.
Before I came to Singapore, Cyrus reminded me of a verse that talks about how so many great people in the Bible –> they put their faith in God for things that they did not even see in their lifetime. Awesome stuff eh?! Believing is seeing.
Want to experience it? All it takes is just some believing.
Do check out Jeremiah 32:27 and Ephesians 3:20. Hope these verses will encourage u all.
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” (Eph. 3:20)
